Curtisville Primary, three-time winners of the America’s Healthiest School award presented by Alliance for a Healthier Generation, celebrated Nutrition Day by having kindergarteners learn about nutrition and taste food that they harvested in Tower Gardners.

Led by Food Services Director Jacob Douglas and our Kindergarten Teachers, students discussed food choices on MyPlate and the excitement of trying new foods. They then tasted each individual food that they've grown before combining all of it to create mini salads.
